Royal and cultural - Queens and artists in the Veluwe region

For more than 300 years, the members of the Royal House of Orange chose to live, work, be entertained and spend their leisure time in the Veluwe region. Now you too can stroll in royal fashion through the stables, coach houses and historic baroque gardens of Paleis Het Loo. You will find more history in the regional museums: about the artists’ colony, for instance, which settled near Nunspeet at the end of the 19th century. Art lovers are sure to find plenty to their liking on the Veluwe. The Kröller-Müller Museum has the second-largest collection of Van Gogh’s artworks in the world and a magnificent sculpture garden.
