The combination of the fast-flowing water, the flood plains and the waterway bustling with barges and pleasure boats makes the River IJssel hugely popular among tourists. This cycling route explores the western bank of the IJssel, leading you over winding dikes, past charming farmhouses and through idyllic villages dotted along the river. The route is approx. 41 kilometres long. If you would like to shorten or perhaps lengthen the route along the way, check the map on the information board at each intersection and adapt your route to suit your needs.
