Jachthuis Sint Hubertus is a fine example of art and architecture. It was the former summer residence of the park’s founders, Anton and Helene Kröller-Müller. Anton was an enthusiastic hunter and Helene a passionate art collector. It was their ambition to combine nature and culture. Architect H.P. Berlage designed not only the Jachthuis, but also its entire interior and surroundings, including the
gardens and the lake, splendidly illustrating how nature and culture can be fused together. Daily guided tours lead visitors through the most important rooms of the Jachthuis, including free audio tours in English, German, French, Chinese and Spanish.
